I think it also helps if the download gets interrupted, so it doesn't have to download the same thing all over again. If you are using Windows, then it knows that folder location is there. This is also why the game ends up using this space as a temp storage location. That is because this game does use Microsoft's best practice about saving config and save files inside of your my documents folder. Can't remember if it is partial or the complete download.

Once it gets enough, it will move it over to the actual install location. However, it will use the windows my documents folder, if I remember the name right, as a storage space for the downloads. And it sounds like you installed it in the right place. But from what I remember, it will install the game to where you told it to install. I haven't had to install in a long time so I could be wrong.

You told it to install the game to your boot drive. Where did you install the game? You are saying you installed it on the boot drive and you said you installed it to your game drive.
